What are Hardscapes?

Hardscapes is a term used to describe elements in a commercial or residential landscape. These elements include concrete pavers, retaining walls, decks & pergolas. Products can be either natural or synthetic materials.

Are Pavers Durable?

Concrete paving systems have been around for thousands of years. The durability of concrete pavers when installed correctly is unmatched by any other paving product, including site poured concrete.

How do I maintain my pavers?

Concrete paving systems have been around for thousands of years. The durability of concrete pavers when installed correctly is unmatched by any other paving product, including site poured concrete.

How do I maintain my pavers?

Pavers are virtually maintenance free. A seal coat may be applied for a glossier look.

What benefits do pavers offer over concrete?

Interlocking concrete paving systems are flexible so they will not crack when minor shifting or settling occurs in the soil. Site poured concrete is a rigid system and cracks will eventually form, compromising its look and performance. Our concrete pavers are produced in a controlled setting which allows for greater compressive strength four times that of poured concrete.

Can I drive on pavers?

The combination of a 10”-12” inch compacted rock base and the compressive strength of the pavers will be more than sufficient to support your vehicles.

Is snow removal going to damage my pavers?

No, when installed correctly, your interlocking paver system will be easy to shovel or plow. Also, the pavers are resistant to damage from freeze/thaw, and hold up significantly better than poured concrete.

Will weeds grow up in the cracks?

No. We use special polymeric sand between the pavers that hardens to form a flexible bond. This coupled with the compacted rock base makes it virtually impossible for weeds to grow up through the pavers.

Will my pavers crack or settle?

Properly installed, the base will be sturdy and the concrete pavers will hold up beautifully in any conditions. Also, the benefit of using individual pavers over a rigid surface is the ease of replacing individual pavers should a repair be necessary.
